The "healthy at any size" people are the absolute worse for many, many reasons. It's also sort of sad with wish fulfillment as they'll find one outlier at about 10 sigma out, i.e. a fattie that can run a marathon (no matter how slowly) and then convince themselves they are actually healthy, even though morbidly obese.
Their delusions are monumental in scale and sadly the sphere of influence in our PC governed world is growing much like their waistlines.
Check your privilege, brah. Morbidly obese, zero exercise, healthy at any weight. Then you have to start a blog telling about things like how you know more about "your body" than your doctor does, who is, you know, a hetero-normative fat shamer.
^A lot depends on your metabolism and body type, you can be slightly fat and very fit like below.. (nba player)
But you can't be obese and fit not to mention healthy(like the woman from previous page), there's no way.
It's easier to take a pity on yourself and call others bigots than to get to work on yourself and improve your
health and life. The latter takes character.
Just to briefly digress from calling out the fatties, it's also possible to be thin and yet in less-than-great shape. I happen to have a fast metabolism but coupled with a desk job and a long commute, I don't get as much exercise as I should. I look like I could run a 5k, but I'm sure I can't. I am very careful about what I eat, though.
But being thin does not necessarily put extra stress on your heart, your joints, raise risk for things like stroke and type II diabetes (this "fit at any weight" folks want to deny this) and a host of other issues. Thin people are not telling us we need to look at their grossly thin bodies and think it's normal. In fact it is not uncommon to see very thin people being cajoled into eating due to their thinness.
