Bonus points for "If men really wanted . . ." with the implicit assumption that we all conspire to think identically and want all the same things. (Of course, gay guys only get 3/5 of a vote when official policy is being set, and FtM transgenders are only allowed to audit the meetings.) Because I'm sure this author would have no problem with one of her male colleagues writing something like, "If women really wanted workplace equality . . . "
Although she's clearly right. Men have no incentive to see a male birth control pill developed. Because all men want to leave their financial and familial fates entirely up to their sexual partners.
