I don't get the dress code thing. Is she saying she wants to dress like a cheap hussy and not get looked at?
Apparently by wearing 'crop tops' that reveal their stomach, boys at school could be distracted by this - and it's sexist to be attracted to women.

She does want to get looked at. She wants to takeaway attention from other females, and she is looking to attract only certain males.

The dress code thing is apparently the fight of the moment for feminists, the one on my Facebook is all over this shit. Apparently because the occasional moron principle or teacher says that it's "distracting to boys" instead of "that shit is inappropriate", dress codes are sexist and must be done away with.

That's the particularly stupid thing about it. Girls in high school are fully cued in to the meaning and connotation of their clothing choices. It's a stupid lesson to tell schools that they can't enforce any standards because "sexism."

Same with my feed. I didn't bother arguing with her, but at my high school, if I guy showed up in a wife beater or pants that sagged and revealed underwear, the same thing would happen.

This isn't new. In fact, I think it is stupid how much girls get away with at school in that regard. Girls used to wear short shorts or skirts and the male teachers wouldn't say anything for fear of getting accused of something (especially after a high school teacher in the district was actually convicted of sexual misconduct). There was one male teacher who didn't care and would always enforce it even against the cheerleaders/jocks/favored class and kicked a cheerleader out of final exams for a dress code violation. The principal did nothing but send her back to take exams.

There should be a clearly defined dress code (and I think uniforms are a good idea) that should be consistently enforced.

This is actually a really bad progression. It's gone from, "I should be able to wear what I want without fear of getting raped" to "I should be able to wear what I want and you'll only have thoughts about me that I find appropriate."

I'm not sure why my morbidly obese lesbian friend continues to engage me. Apparently Mark Ruffalo said something in support of abortion and she thinks it's great and we should all listen to him. I asked her why men that support her position should be listened to yet you continually tell your male detractors they have no right to an opinion as they lack a vag. Apparently what I said is, "Not the same."

No, no stupid fat lesbian, it is.

This is 100 percent a move by Gardner to skirt the contraceptive mandate in the ACA and push the cost of birth control back onto women. Hormonal birth control isn't ibuprofen: it has serious side effects that need to be discussed between a patient and her health care provider before taking them (not to mention all the different kinds! I've been on 4 different pills, each of which have affected me differently).
I'm disgusted that a senator from my current state is trying to push the financial burden of contraceptives back onto women under the guise of empowerment.
Also, what the fuck? Why is congress legislating where ANY medication is sold?! None of them have medical degrees! The choice to make birth control OTC should be made by the FDA, not our political representation!

That is some next level stupidity.

The great thing is that they keep making more levels. No matter how outrageously stupid this movement can be, someone keeps topping the previous high water mark

My brain shut down at "This is 100 percent a move . . ."

Look! Data! I'm not just saying shit here, it's scientifically proven!
