Wow, quite the response. I definitely have some looking around to do- thank you all. I guess if some of you approve, I will go into the Gap and check out their stuff. I haven't been in there... well... ever, to shop, and I never thought I would. Learn something new every day.
I was the same way at one point, especially since I rather buy RLPL, theory, RL Polo, Loro Piana, etc...before GAP. But, I have found that for simpler, inexpensive and long lasting items (READ: Casual) nothing beats the GAP. They have a huge range of goods, and are all available in a full range of sizes. Plus, with the constant sales on both the stores and via the website, I don't think you can go wrong. Jon.

Wait...is this a response to my post, or...am I just confused? Jon.

Actually I am looking for another pair. If you find a size 28, let me know. Thanks Lance. Jon.

28 is a tough size to find. i have some 30s in jeans and barbera and incotex, but nothing in 28.

Yeah, I saw the gray Incotex and Barbera pants on your site; unfortunately I had already purchased two pairs of gray (light / charcoal) RLPL pants on sale (which were still more than the pants you have on your site, SIGH), but in jeans, either you have the right size from the get-go or you don't purchase it, since when it is cut down it will not look the same. Well, if the only danger of being thin is fitting into clothes, I'll take it. People always tell me to bulk-up, not for my health, but so I can fit into clothes. Jon.

that's probably true, it's easier finding a 32 or 34 than a 28 as i'm sure you know but you are what you are.
