Saddleback Leather Bags

Thread Starter
http://www.saddlebackleather.com/ I remember seeing these bags discussed somewhere on the forum. Does anyone own one, and if so, what do you think of it?

Wow. Those are super nice and I'm very tempted to get one...even after seeing the hefty price. Sadly (and realistically), I don't think I'll be shelling out $500 any time soon though.

these bags r quite nice, but 400 dollars, a bit too expensive.

I have one in tobacco. It is a very nice bag, but a bit too big for me, as it looks somewhat out of proportion to my smaller body. It's in great condition and I would be willing to part with for $425 shipped. PM if you are interested. I have pics. Edit: SOLD

man those are beautiful bags

To revive an old thread:

I received one of the satchels in chestnut brown. Construction, leather everything is incredibly nice. Colour is fantastic. I may end up returning (or selling it) though as the amount of crap I take to work has increased and will probably need a messenger instead. Quite possibly the SBL chestnut brown messenger bag

Once I can afford it I intend to not only buy one of those bags, but a set of luggage from them. They have some of the nicest stuff I've ever seen.

One day, I will have one of these messenger bags.

I want one--- thanks!

I have one of these messenger bags 17inch in tobacco but I have problems getting them to stand up. Anyone else have similar porblems?
the messenger bag only comes in 14".

are you talking about the briefcase/backpacks? they come in 12", 14", 16" and 18".

i like the briefcase/backpacks. trying to decide on what size i want though.
Ahhh i meant the briefcase yes. I have the 16 inch sorry. It's pretty big but I like it because it is roomy. However, if you are really skinny the 16inch will look awkward on you.

yeah, that's what i was thinking. if i do get one, i think i'll go with the 14".

now, the color...i'm torn between the chestnut and black.

Wow....what a coincidence. I was just looking at these beautiful bags yesterday and deciding if I should get one, and today I came across this thread.

I'm also looking at the 14"er in coffee brown or black. My friends suggest I should get brown just because it will produce a nicer vintage effect, but deep down I kinda want to get the black.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Can anyone post pics of their bags? Thanks in advance everyone.
