Look what just came in the mail: Hank Player Tee's
These American made Tees are made with 100% pure American grown long staple cotton (Supima). I am quite pleased with these shirts; they are well made, well fitting, shiny, vibrantly colored and very soft. Due to the cotton they should also get better with age.

Surprised that a lot of the made in USA brands that are mentioned elsewhere on Styleforum haven't been mentioned in this thread. Some of them also have non-USA made stuff, but it's worth mentioning Epaulet, Band of Outsiders, Triple Aught Design, Taylor Stitch, Corter Leather, Randolph Engineering, AO Optics, Save Khaki, Alternative Apparel, American Apparel, Brooks Brothers (Black and Golden Fleece lines), Parke and Ronen, Danner Boots, and Johnson Leathers. Well those are the ones I have personal experience with, but I know there are much more.

The classic sportswear brand Champion still makes clothing in the USA
The only problem is it’s not sold in the US… However, it can still be gotten from Japan. It’s a strange world we live in when one has to go to Japan to buy clothing that is made in America…

this is interesting...can you confirm that these are actually manufactured by Champion and they're not just licensing their name to a 3rd-party manufacturer here in the US? i'd be surprised if Champion still owns any production facilities stateside.

Shorty Long-- I have looked into this and have found nothing. I know I have been surprised a few times to learn of companies that don’t own factories, but rather subcontract.

Goodwear: Well made casual clothing.
I’ve read about Goodwear and supposedly they use average quality cotton, but make their garments quite thick and well crafted. For these reasons this brand is one often favored by the high-end work wear community in the US, UK, Japan, and others…

Also there is talk of possibly considering doing a super-heavyweight Supima t-shirt which would push the envelope indeed.



Here is a description by Aero leathers:

A friend of mine just picked up a Goodwear grab bag for $20. It includes five heavyweight tee shirts. These are not irregulars either “All of the shirts offered are first quality from top of production, salesmen samples, and showroom samples.”

Especially noticeable is the nice stitching and extreme heft of the fabric
