Trousers - who to consider?

Good evening gents,

I'm in the market for a nice new pair of trousers, office type wear but also for occasional ventures apres work into restaurant and nice bar territory

I'm probably looking for something in a nice patterned grey, I'm in the UK and looking for any suggestions anyone may have of who to consider?

Many thanks

Is there a page with links to affiliated vendors? Trying to find one with no luck

Thanks

Look over to the right column under "Industry Insiders".
Those are links to the affiliate threads.

Thanks for your help folks

Keep in mind that you will have to pay import taxes if the affiliate vendors are located outside the EU/EFTA.

Are Hiltl trousers available in the UK? I have been happy with their quality and fabrics. Else Incotex makes nice trousers.

Budget options: suit pants from T.M. Lewin or Charles Tyrwhitt. I'm very happy with my charcoal flannel pants from CT.

I read somewhere that the Duke of Windsor had his trousers made by an American tailor, but for any normal person living in the UK there is certainly no good reason to go outside the country (and certainly not outside the EU) for trouser-shopping of all things.

Do you have an idea on the fit you want? Rather hard to suggest a brand without hearing that first.

Again thanks everyone for their input

In terms of fit they have to be very relaxed fit, I played basketball and then rugby when younger so a lifetime of squats has left me with some pretty sizeable legs! I'd also like to give braces a whirl with this pair

I would save the braces for a suit, seems bizarre with an odd pant.

The braces I'd like to try for function more than anything else, I'll like be keeping them undercover with a v-neck but I find a belt uncomfortable over a 10 hour working day
