Good Afternoon All,

Looking for some help regarding the fit of my newly acquired Jcrew Ludlow Tuxedo. (I know JCrew is def. not the best tuxedo, but in my budget it works fine for me). I had a difficult time deciding which size to get...either a 36R or a 38R.

The first two pictures are of the 36R...It fits snug but comfortably but I feel like it looks a tad on the small size in the shoulders. It fits the arms and waist well. I can deal with slight creasing at the shoulders since I know this is not a super high quality tux.

The last picture is of the 38R. I feel like it fits and drapes on the shoulders better, but the fit was definitely more roomy in the arms and waist. The jacket would definitely need to be taken in...can the arms be tailored slimmer? Ideally, id love to be in a 37R.

Your opinions are greatly appreciated....just tryin to weigh the benefits of having a lot of alterations done to the 38r, or dealing with a slightly snug fit of the 36r.

Thanks!

I don't think the 36 looks particularly small in the shoulders. I also don't think you should slim the arms. Based on the pictures it's hard to give much specific critique.

They both look good. I would go with the bigger one.

Pictures are not helpful but the lapels are as ugly as sin.

Go with a 38r. If it feels to snug go a size up
