Since few people seem to read the announcements, I thought I'd post it here. I set up shoe "tickers" that show the 200 most newly listed and soonest ending shoe auctions from the best brands on eBay US, UK, France and Germany:

http://www.styleforum.net/shoeticker.html - 200 most newly listed shoe auctions on ebay US
http://www.styleforum.net/shoeticker2.html - 200 soonest ending shoe auctions on ebay US
http://www.styleforum.net/shoetickerUK.html - UK newly listed
http://www.styleforum.net/shoetickerUK2.html - UK ending soon
http://www.styleforum.net/shoetickerFR.html - France newly listed
http://www.styleforum.net/shoetickerFR2.html - France ending soon
http://www.styleforum.net/shoetickerDE.html - Germany newly listed
http://www.styleforum.net/shoetickerDE2.html - Germany ending soon

If anyone has a brand to add to the list (Polo, Gucci, Prada, Vuitton are out, too many crap results clogging it up) please let me know.

Saw that this morning, awesome work J, thanks. Extra credit for including the Euro sites. Just one thing, the links to the German auctions don't seem to be working. The rest are cool.

Hmm, thanks. I hadn't noticed that. I'll look into it - unfortunately the site development stuff is all in the native languages and my technical German is nicht so gut...

Heh, I understand that one well. For as much paperwork as I had to fill out in that damn country, you would think I would have figured out the language a little bit better. No worries though, I'm not complaining. Not in the market for German shoes anyway

It appears that the German ones are trying to go through an affiliate system that I'm not signed up with (even though the script is set to the right one like the others are). I just emailed ebay to see if they can tell me what needs to be done.

BTW, Italy was suggested, but I didn't find many interesting shoes on there when I did a search. If people still want it, I can set that up.

I will also probably be working on tickers for small leather goods, possibly vintage watches, not really sure. Anyone who can give suggestions and especially good favorite search strings is very welcome to PM me. Thanks.

Doesn't work for me in Firefox either (I also have AdBlock installed), but works great in IE.

(We won't tell tiger02 how great the selection of British shoes, and of Aldens and AEs, is on the German site. We'll keep it a secret. And we'll really hope that the links start working.)

Stealthily . . .

I looked around but didn't see the shoe tickets posted anywhere. Was this discontinued?

Yeah, thanks, I did. This is the original thread, which is why I posted in it.

Pretty sure there were links at the top of the page up until the recent redesign.
