on a bit more serious note, perhaps the best result of me joining SF was getting to meet very interesting and wonderful people irl... globetrotter, emptym, bbaquiran, gus of course!, imatlas, shak(?), comrade, archivist, and the other bay area sf guys who I met through a couple of meet ups... I also have/had online friends I met here that I hope to have a beer with someday... kyle, stitchy, mr. g, alter, thomas, ratboy, flmm, derek, edina, conne, matt, slim, eason, hoss, douglas, etc. etc.... so for that alone- sf still has its appeal to me.
oh and the buttsechs at those meet ups after you get soused are intense!
