Dark gray shirt, actually, but close enough smile.gif. I've got no problem with black shoes and dark blue denim (although I'd rather have been wearing a longwing blucher than a balmoral boot here, I just don't have one at the moment..) -- you see that a lot in street wear; I wear black Wolverines with these jeans all the time. Which leads me to:

But again, it's not so much whether it's good or bad as the fact that this is all on the wrong side of the forum: it's SW&D not CM.

I actually totally agree with that, but the thread is where it is (unless a moderator can move it?)

Well, it was deliberately put here by the OP because he is trolling the CM forum (and not just in this thread)... that's the whole reason the thread is so unproductive.

This absolutely works as far as I am concerned. The jacket fits right, the colors (brown based) and textures are informal enough that they work with the jeans.

Here it is....... today's odd vest fit.

suit pants today, as no hard is work required.   with a tame navy/green tie, and a navy suit. white shirt. white square.

and navy braces, odd vest. yawn, but got plenty of looks going out for breakfast.

#haha Claghorn, must have either a odd vest, jacket. fits with jeans are a bonus. bigstar[1].gif

uhhhhhhh.......close to half (less than my original guess) of fits on WAYRN are generally odd jackets. As it gets colder, this number gets higher.

What exactly is so heretical about odd jackets? They are certainly very accepted around here.

and some of them are great,

but why not explore the wearing of them, incorporating different elements, that's why i was unsure about posting today's fit. a bit boring. but, an odd vest.nod[1].gif

all the random pics i post try to break the "rules" where some look good, and some don't. that is for the viewers, to see for themselves.

and maybe provoke them to try something new.    what i try to aim for has been said. though many members see stuff they like, but it is "Blasphemous"

so here is the thread for such styles. we don't all wear the same thing everyday,  and with more input, this thread could really be a style melting pot.

here's to hoping........smile.gif
