Probably not because TNA are small timers and his role the last time I watched was to put over the likes of AJ Styles.

But his role in WWE would also to be put over their stars and Sting was never a good worker in the past and probably aint, in his 50s so they will have a stinkfest if he wrestles a main event against Taker.

He should have tons of money from WCW. Enough for him to play golf and retire.

^ he may have earned tons of money before, but I definitely do not think he's showing up week after week in that shithole to continue his legacy, like ric flair.

Ha ha. True true. And its not like Sting is some great rassling champion in his prime. His greatest athlete feat in his day was from a standing position (not running), jump over the top rope, clear it totally, and land on his opponent outside.

He may have ran out of money like his many peers and have to fall into McMahon's clutches. Everyone has to pay the price to Mr McMahon.

^^^ He needs to grow a pair and have a go. It isn't all about him. Let the fans have their Sting/Taker program.

BTW, there's a guy over on Grantland who is writing a weekly column on Pro Wrestling. It's actually quite well written and fairly insightful.

I didn't realize that he was married to Michelle McCool. Sort of sucks that he has to go through life with "Sara" tatooed at the base of his neck.

^ I remember watching out for his neck tattoo once and noticing the 'sara' tattoo's gone.

also notable was davey boy smith's kid, d.h. smith, melina perez, vladimir kozlov, gail kim and chris masters were shown the door. guess that's it for their half-hearted attempt to do a hart foundation redux, and I'm pretty sure tyson kidd's going back to his old name, t.j. wilson, pretty soon.

I will never forget Chris Masters's first match on either RAW or Smackdown (can't remember which show it was). He was fighting Stevie Richards. Stevie is coming off of the ropes and Masters is supposed to deliver a Polish Hammer to the chest. He instead accidentally bashes in Stevie's nose. He nose explodes on live television. There's blood everywhere. Masters immediately pins him and everybody gets the hell out of the ring.

Of all of the people in your list the only one that I am sad to see go is Kozlov. I thought he had a little bit of talent. I also think it's funny that this is the second time that they have picked up and dropped Gail Kim. On the whole I can't stand women's wrestling. I know that the fact that they are hot babes is supposed to compensate for the lack of wrestling ability, but it doesn't. I always Tivo wrestling and just fast fwd past that shit.

^ I wasn't surprised kozlov getting the boot. when you start out with an indestructible and/or quiet fighter there's not much you could do to develop the character. once he was part of a comedy tag team, its all downhill.

interesting article in grantland about ric flair
Quote:
Today the story is about a man known in the court system as Richard Morgan Fliehr, 62, born in 1949 and adopted by parents who raised him in Minnesota. That's what he was called this past April, when a judge ejected Fliehr from his Charlotte home because he couldn't pay his rent. That's what he was called in May, when he faced an arrest order for an unpaid $35,000 loan. That's what he's called on the paychecks from Total Nonstop Action, a second-tier outfit where he's still compelled to perform despite suffering from alcoholic cardiomyopathy, and where almost everything he earns goes toward old debts: lawyers, ex-wives, the IRS, former business partners, and anyone who made the mistake of lending him money.

Yeah, my buddy and I were talking about that piece. The moral of the story: Don't lend money to Rick Flair. And to think that guy used to be my avatar.

"Sorry about your damn luck!"

Holy Fuck! Never did I think that James Storm would win the title before Bobby Roode.
