It's more Hollywood superhero garbage. What are they possibly going to do with this story that could be in the least bit interesting?

This movie stinks of desperation.

It's been part of the comic book canon for many, many years so I get why... but still don't get good vs good. But there's always a story for that.

There's probably going to be disagreements with the way each of them handle certain issues and at the end then they'll unite to fight a common foe.

I doubt it's going to be something like The Dark Knight Returns (way too soon for that), but more of a World's Finest.

Superman will get hit with mauve kryptonite which makes him see good people as bad and he won't be responsible for his actions while he fights Batman. Then everything will get fixed at the end and Superman won't face any legal repercussions even though if a regular person was fed crack and killed people you'd still be held responsible for the deaths and go to prison.

It's going to be terrible.

I don't have full confidence in the Snyder/Goyer duo, so I'm having my doubts about this.

Batman does things his way, Superman does things a different way. They fight about it, and Superman beats up Batman, Batman grins and says, "What are you gonna do, kill me like you killed Zod?" then Superman becomes ultra depressed, but Batman is there to tell him no worries we're bros, let's team up and do it together. They bro up and beat the bad guy. They start the Justice League in this movie at the very end, they are the founding members. Flash swings by in the post-credits.

When Superman becomes depressed and goes underwater to meditate, Aquaman is shown in the background.

Flash swings by in the post-credits.

2 Justice League character introductions? Done.

Wait we forgot Bruce's love interest with Diana Prince, I Wonder who that Woman ends up being in future movies.

I hear they want a standalone Wonder Woman film, but I'm not sure they can pull it off.

Sadly, with the relative and sometimes spectacular failure of female led action hero/super hero movies it won't happen anytime soon.

Female comic movies walk a weird line between being needing to be borderline porn to get guys interested (and pushing most females away) or being overtly women's lib to gain female interest (and pushing most men away).

Barbarella was the closest the genre got to doing it right.

I think that in order for WW to happen, she'll need to be a badass motherfucking secondary character in a damn good movie and drum up the interest to carry her own origin/lead story. Still, it'll need a lot of skin.

Or try to get Tarantino involved a la kill bill and go against the typical super hero production.

aeon flux comes to mind... of course the story sucked more than the animated series (which is no masterpiece to begin with, imo) and it failed miserably in ticket sales, in spite of such gratuitous shots like...
