Anyone knows if its possible to get a pair of CP insoles? Or if not, what other brands have a similar fit?

I just bought a pair of all black Common Projects Achilles Low in size 39. I am usually a size 8.5 in Nikes. When I was buying them, I was able to try on both a size 39 and 40. The 40 seemed just right but was pretty roomy at the toe whereas the 39 was very snug but the toe room was perfect. I decided to wear them for the first time today, and it was fine for about an hour or so and then the sides of my feet and heel started to hurt. I decided to ignore it but after awhile the back of my ankle/achilles started to constantly rub against the back of the shoe to the point where it started to bleed a little. Did I buy the wrong size? I wanted a snug fit because I hear that the leather stretches quite a bit and that eventually it will be comfortable. Do you think I should continue to try and stretch it out or try and exchange the shoe for a size 40? Also, I was wearing really thin no-show socks so that's why my skin was rubbing against the shoe.

nah they are fine. if the toe box is fine you're good. try to work the leather a little bit with your hands. I bent mine outwards so it doesnt dig into my achilles. i wear em without socks with no issues.

What would you say is a good amount to have in the toe box? There's around 3/4 of an inch room for me. I'm beginning to think that might be too small?

Soto Store posted these matte dark greys on their IG, so good

That's the thing with the cp achilles fit, horribly uncomfortable and awkward. I sold mine after less than ten wears.

I have wide feet and went with the size that would fit in the width, but they were too long.

hey, i wear the same size in nike as you and wear a 40 in the original vintage highs

as i mentioned in a previous post, cp's are just gonna fit long due to the nature of their design

and these things are made with a calf leather, aren't they? if they feel painfully tight now, then they probably won't ever stretch out to where they're comfortable

Does anybody know any retailer in europe that is selling the achilles in blush AND accepts paypal?

Yeah I decided to exchange them for a 40. A bit looser than I would like, but way more comfortable than the 39. Thanks!

if you have wide feet cp's are tough. They've changed the fit of the achilles over the years and made them slightly wider, but they still fit on the narrow side. if they are hurting your feet I'd sell them.

Achilles are basically unwearable with wide feet. Bballs are ok tho

I finally bought a pair of the Chelsea's off of Need Supply in a 44 (US 11).

I've wanted these shoes for over a year and I got them for $465.

with me all cp achilles run really narrow but after a few wears when they break in they get very comfortable
