Realized I posted in the old thread

Anyone has already experienced the lining "bleeding" onto the socks?
This is currently happening with the suede achilles that I have and I don't recall having this issue with the other achilles leather version (though they are not the same color).

As they are still brand new, will it stop after some time or I'm condamned to have funny stains?

Tan suede chelseas in stock at Barneys in most sizes FYI. This is a kanye shoe so act quick if interested...

I know this question has been asked many times and I apologize if its annoying. However is it really standard to size down one on the achilles mid? I found a pair of 42 on the resale market for a good price but with all the issues of sizing down I'm unsure if I should go through with it. For example I wear 9 in Nikes and Adidas and 8.5 in Allen Edmunds, Alden, Red Wings. Also a couple of my friends also have mixed opinions as some went TTS and some are adamant about sizing down. Note that they all have regular sized feet. None of them have narrow or wide feet. Also, say that it does fit a bit big, can't you just put insoles in to compensate? Thanks guys!

^ They deff fit a whole size big, and I had the same issue last year when I found a pair of achilles for cheap but they were too big. I just put an extra insole in the shoes as you said and they fit perfect now. I would go for it and try that.

^ Thanks for the reply! Sounds like perhaps adding an insole in case it's big wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Hrm, looking to purchase my first pair. Waiting for a deal somewhere....

I'm a 42 in most dress shoes and boots, so I figure I'll probably go with a US9.

I'm having a tough time deciding on color though, I feel like white might be too much, maybe off-white or gray is a better option? Leaning towards Grey..

rule of thumb is they run a size large.

Only in length though. If you have remotely wide feet, sizing down might be tough.

My feet are pretty narrow, 9D US in most dress shoes..

8UK in Tod's Loafers
42EU in most boots
10US in Van's
11US in NB's

I think a 9US (42EU) should be ok for Common Projects.

Any comments to what colorway? I think white might be too stark and clean? I don't know if I would wear them that much. But not sure what the grey looks like in real life.

Any sales going on? Almost had them for 35% off at that faux barneys sale...

I find the CP Achilles run TTS so 9 would be for you. I read on this forum that some people size down 1 size, but not me.

Both the light grey and darker grey are versatile colors. You can wear them the same way. I would personally go for the darker grey, but really a coin flip.

Sorry, you were considering off white vs grey. I prefer the grey.
