They are lined in leather. What do you expect?

yeah that's an issue too. Make your feet feel like they're in a sauna.
Why is it we all love these shoes again (aside from their slim profile)?

I don't have any heel bone spur issues.  I'll get these bastards to fit.  Going to go double socked and wear it indoors till they stretch out.   Can't do that for a while mine, my feet are destroyed.

agree they make your feet sweat once you've had them on for more than 4 or 5 hours. I don't have problems with heel blisters but I do find I tend to get a blister between my little toe and 4th toe if I wear them for to long. must be the narrowness puts pressure between the toes. anyone else experience this?

correction: it's the nail of my little toe pushing/cutting against my 4th toe which is causing the problem, just need to cut the nail back a little shorter there and it could be fine.

my achilles lows still squeak after three full days of wear

on the left shoe, too, i squeeze out an audible push of air on every other step i take (i think due to my high arch or something)

tres-bien

I hear about CP's punishing people's feet. I've been wearing them for years and they fit me fine. They are not for everyone. Some brands do the same thing for me. I'd try other brands like Butteroo, Zespa, etc if CP's are hurting your feet.

Can anyone with the winter combat boot tell me whether they fit narrow in the toe box like the derby's? Thinking about pulling the trigger if they're a little spacier

Definitely spacier than achilles in the same size, but I don't have the derbies, so can't compare to them.

Same here, I have them but don't have the Derbies so can't say how they compare. They do not have a narrow toe box - they fit TTS.

LUISAVIAROMA just whacked up the price of their CP stock by £20 a pair for UK customers WTF? I know the £ pound fell against the Euro over the weekend but still a 7.5% price hike mid season is really taking the biscuit.

Hey there,

Has anyone handled the latest CP achilles special low? They have a cool reptile effect on them and I'm interested in buying, but I check a couple of places and the leather colour looks pretty different:

On End (http://www.endclothing.com/au/common-projects-achilles-low-special-edition-2028-0506.html) they look more white/off-white for the uppers.

However on the Mr Porter website (https://www.mrporter.com/en-au/mens/common_projects/achilles-3d-textured-rubberised-leather-sneakers/737476?ppv=2) they actually look slightly more 'beige' even towards a light yellow. On my macbook retina display it looks way yellow too.

On both sites the colour codes are the same (0506) and I'm after something more white as an alternative to my normal achilles low white (just to change it up a bit).

Any help would be great!

Cheers,

A.
