Suggestions?

I'd go 40. Maybe 41? Is it possible you could buy both to try them on if a store isn't close?

44. It depends a lot more of the width of your foot though.

44 or 43.

44 will likely be a little bit long, 43 will likely be better length-wise but you might find them to be tight in the toes.
For reference I'm a US12 and wear 44's

yeah, i'm a US 12 and wear a 44. the toe box is too narrow, but the length is fine. a 45 is still too narrow, but too long as well.

The toe box is slightly different to the Standard Combat Boots, the profile of the commando sole is very noticable as it comes right to the edge, I think I would of prefered a recessed tread but it's grown on me. The leather is very nice on these boots and I'm really looking forward to wearing them this winter – just flip a coin if you can't decide between crepe or tread : )

I actually found a few fits with them on ssense, and that convinced me to go with winter version.

hey guys, reckon 250 euros is a good price for a pair of off-white achilles?

Just got my winter combat boots from tbs. They fit pretty narrow, but actually feel more comfortable than my achilles in the same size.

And they look amazing with that tread sole!

Breaking in my Achilles gummy lows for the first time today, unfortunately its breaking me.

They do fit tighter than normal Achilles and feel less flexible.  I got two massive blisters on my heels and couldn't walk.  But at work so unable to change shoes, had to stick loads of tissue into the back of the heel to stop the rubbing.

Gotta say I've experienced the same issue. The Achilles are punishing on my heels. Unfortunately your foot might just not be right for them - do you have heel bone spurs?

Biggest issue I find is that the Achilles run hot. My feet get hotter in them than they do in any other sneakers or boots...
