Just purchased these bad boys. Common Projects achilles low in green. I've been torn between #allblack or a green pair - my conclusion is that the green pair will work just fine beetwen my brown & white Buttero Tanino as a fun alternative. And yes, i'm going to be careful & not mix colours. Thinking like black denim or khaki chinos paired with a white t-shirt.

I ordered size 9, i'm 41 in Buttero (slightly tight), 43 1/3 in Stan, 42 1/2 in Converse 70s CDG. Slighty wider feet.

Take care! / C

What sneaker cleaning product do you guys use for the leather and sides of the rubber soles?
leather - soap and water. Leather conditioner after it dries (allen edmonds cleaner condioner is cheap and works well)
sole - nothing works better than Mr Clean magic eraser or generic cleaner eraser. Just be careful not to touch the upper cuz it can discolor the leather. For max deep clean you can use blue painter's tape and tape off the upper from the sole. You can actually clean off the yellowing UV damage to the rubber this way.

I use Jason markk all over, and then collonil leather conditioner once dry.

Yes.  Jason Markk works better than anything I've ever tried.  I use it on all my shoes.

Just got them in. A small warning, they fit noticeably, and look visually narrower than my rubber soled combats from a few seasons ago.
If you wear different sizes in CPs it's probably better to go with the bigger one

Oh damn. I ordered my usual snug 44.
Good to know though. So did you size down 1 from your normal CP's for the Geller Bballs? And then you'd size UP 1 from your normal CP size for these?

just grabbed the last pair of 44's from Antonia!

update!

someone was saying a few pages back Antonia were cheaper than everywhere else. BE WARNED! they dispalyed the price in pounds sterling (my local currency) at £385. I thought great. However now looking at the PayPal transaction they charged me in Euros - €540 Euros. Now I assumed as I paid that was equivilant of the displayed price whcih was shown on the final transaction page (£385), however when converted it's about £80 more, more like £465 (which happens to be the same price as Tres Bien). Not to impressed my Antonia, their displayed prices are very misleading, I've just asked them to cancel the order.

I got sz 40 like all my CPs and they're fine, but if you're one of those people that wears like a 42 in Achilles and 43 in side zips or dress shoes or whatever then I would go with the bigger size

Edit: sorry I skipped the bball part, but yeah you had it right. I don't really need to size up in the Combats but people that are on that verge probably should
post #1139 of 1400
Alright cool yeah I'm 44 in all my CP's, they just have differing levels of tightness (Achilles = tight, Bballs = perfect, crepe sole combats = perfect).

Edit:
Btw are your old combats the version with hooks at the top few eyelets or are they the ones with the round inset eyelets the entire way up?

Finally got my hands on a pair of Achilles. After looking for alternatives, it was clear that no other shoes have just the right silhouette that CPs have. Another sizing data point: I am a 12D Brannock, and the 45s fit me perfectly.
