Selling new blue perforated lows in EU44, if anyone here wants them I'll give a good deal, otherwise I'm gonna post them on b&s in a couple of days. They haven't arrived yet.

How much room are on your heels when you're standing? With this achilles mesh I recently bought I can slip my index finger easily and my thumb with a bit of force. I can also feel my heels slipping a bit when I walk. Maybe because they're new so the soles are still stiff? This doesn't happen with my old vintage achilles. I usually wear 10 us and I wonder if I should size down to 42 in my next cp purchase.

Sorry accidental post

I'm a 12 in Nike and most other shoes (occasionally 11.5) but I take a 44 in CPs. So a full size down seems to work.

I think this is the case of different-model-different-sizing. 43 vintage achilles fits me well but 43 achilles mesh fits slightly larger. Probably because there's less padding.

Does anyone know if the grey Achilles low leather is on sale anywhere? Like the light grey that almost looks white....thanks in advance

anecdotal, but thought id share. my first pair, blk achilles low took a while to wear in. from DS they werent great on the heels, and there was some slippage. second i got a vintage achiiles low from around these parts, and they were either DS or worn a couple times, but they were fine from day 1, no heel slippage no nothing. third pair, white achilles low DS were the same pain in the ass as my first pair, still being broken in actually.

should not 43 is a better length for me, but i wear a 44 in all my achilles low because of the width

Yeah, it's no big deal actually. Tighter lacing and/or thicker socks took care of the slipping. Still I wonder if I should go 42 with my next pair..

Anybody tried switching out the woven laces for leather laces? Any pics?

I think there's a bit of paranoia tbh when it comes to CP sizing.

I am true US10 (10 Vans/10.5 flyknits, etc) and I found that a 43 in CP is slightly too large.  A 42 is a bit tight in width, but after a bit of wear, it becomes a perfect fit.

And I wear 42 in Vintage high, Achilles low, Achilles low mesh, Canvas low, and the track shoe.  I think there's a bit of difference between the models, but not so that you should keep yourselves up at night about it.

I wear 43 in my achilles suedes and they're indeed too long, but only slightly. I can't imagine wearing smaller width though, it's already snug enough, although I have normal width. That's why I am not sure if I should go for 42 with my next purchase, which are (hopefully) the black mids.

anyway, does anyone know why the nubuck/mesh combo CP from this season is priced higher than the leather models? is it only because they're new? or if the material is indeed more expensive than the leather?

Am I tripping or do these look green? They're the blue perforated lows. They definitely look green in person. Also I would probably size down if going from original achilles to perforated; not certain however as these fit fine width wise but had a good inch and a half left in the toe, compared to about an inch in the original lows.

What about this photo? I'd say it depicts the color more accurately. Not sure how they turned out differently in the pictures I took. I am slightly red-green colorblind but that shouldn't matter in this case.
