Jetted suit pockets & royal style

Does anyone wear jetted pockets with their suits?  It seems uncommon outside of formalwear, yet it's a look that's preferred by some sophisticated dressers, including Prince Charles.  I hardly ever see it in the US, but it has a streamlined appearance that's quite elegant:
