Just look for the brass plate on the sole. The rubber, Stacy "you gotta be kidding me" Adams, sole.

Forgot the printout though... Definitely Stacey Adams and snakeskin.

Come on guys. Printout + wallet = no fail.

Btw. I've been limited to only lunch breaks for thrifting since this hunt started. Time to crank it up a notch.

Yeah, it was sad... I left home earlier than usual to take the van in for service. Forgot that stuff...

I tagged the oddest exotic skin shoe. Looked like a jungle moc but was Ostrich. (or print, since I am not competing I did not care to examine)

Pretty sure I still win for ugliness

By the way, I know little more about selvedge than what it is, but is this when selvedge officially jumped the shark?

Old navy?! I got to have expert verification on that. That looks like sewn on.

I know. As you can tell, my camera is pretty crappy, so if there is something I can look for to confirm that it is sewn on someone tell me (this seems like it would be useful info for general denim thrifting anyway). I'll probably be back in that neighborhood in the next few days, so I can take another look. Alas, in Milwaukee that might be the only selvedge I see during the competition. ffffuuuu.gif

How are you guys holding up?

Other than having not found a Grant Tartan turkish bathrobe, not bad... I'm sure Wes will still win, but at least I won't come in last!

Try Viyella for that. I believe they rather use Stewart though.
