After a mad dash in the thrift not paying any attention to "the list", I now realize I managed to purchase two items on the list...Canali pants and Tyrwhitt polo ..no wait..polo has no "made in" label...geez..back to the drawing boards..

There is a bonus point for finding a Turkish robe that is actually made in Turkey....right? So, would there be a bonus point for a pic of a turkey sandwich made in a Turkish robe made in Italy

Fur question - I found an old overcoat today that had a fur collar. Problem was, it had pretty much no labeling. Does this bad ipod touch pic show the leather well enough to demonstrate fur, or do they put fake fur on leather, or is it just shearling and shearling doesn't count?

I would also like a tartan clarification. Surely plaid shirts don't count, so what is the requirement here.

Now I wonder if I'm being a kill-joy. If I am, just tell me to shut up, post what I want to, and argue about it after the fact.

Hit two stores & only knocked out a half-dozen or so. Tough list! Did hit a couple personal firsts in the process though (CdG, Ferragamo).
Do exotic boots count for hunt purposes, or strictly shoes?

Given the rarity of exotic skin shoes boots count.
I think that collar is fur. Backing proof accepted.
Plaid shirts do not count. Tartan shirts do, which of course a type of plaid. Pendleton, PRL etc has many. Just google . I suspect scarves are easier to find though

Would that be browns and green?

I was going to comment that my GI tract was not organized enough for that, but decided to leave it alone. Obviously Hucklecat picked up my fumble.

Buchanans famously defecate tartan. Something to do with the sheep eating certain herbs. Their haggis is in red and green plaid. You lowlanders would not understand that.

BTW, gents, I officially stand at 0. I have committed to make an entry and I will. But in my defense, it's end of quarter.

Anyone want a proxy? You better believe I bought this: in fact, I'm using it right now...

Checked off exotic skin shoes today. Stacy Adams. I'm apparently attempting to gather the least valuable collection of submissions possible. Have not bought a single thing yet of the things I've checked off my scavenger list.

Funny, I keep skimming over the cheap shoes thinking they can't possibly be real snakeskin. Perhaps I should look closer?
