Everything is listed US size for the US.....I adjusted the stamps/fittings ahead of delivery.

Yes...what do you mean? The factory uses lasts sized UK. I tested the fits and adjusted to the US size from there.

Do it. Would have pulled the trigger already if I didn't just buy the EG Shannon. Yeeee

I stopped by CSC and picked up the black brogued captoe. It's a steal for $275. Here are some pics of the Yanko stamped in a 9.5 next to a Camina captoe in UK8.5 (model 10085 on the Simpson last from Farfetch; I'm actually going to put this one up on the marketplace tomorrow as the Simpson last doesn't for my foot!):

It looks like an exact duplicate of the Rain last.

I saw some Yanko shoes in Japan, and the leathers seemed nothing like the standard of Carmina. It had a decent pricetag though

Congrats!!!

It's kind of amazing that it took you this long, being a boot man like you are.

What color or colors did you go with?

How does the leather compare to Carmina?

I'm on the fence of these because of so many varying opinions. Some are saying not good leather, but then Ron Rider says they are superior to most UK shoes. I'm much more inclined to believe his opinion.

We'll see this evening after a couple drinks, but I imagine I'll be pulling the trigger. Only have one pair of blacks and these look like they'd be a nice addition.

Are the ones at CSC different (in quality, style, etc) from the ones that will be coming next year?

Can they be purchased online?

Thanks to Namor for starting the thread. Will be interesting to watch this brand develop SF-rep (or not).
