Purchased a pair of Balmoral Boots from Patine made by Yanko.

Initial impressions are positive. Leather feels supple, stitching is generally neat. Only issues are 2 sets of puncture holes either side of the heel on both boots (refer last pic) and the right boot sole looks like it has been walked on before. Bought it on discount so still acceptable to me.

Model: Yanko 706YH Cuero/Tabac

As to puncture holes-this is technical issue. In this place the leather was fixed to the last.
Similar holes I have on my demi-chasse Westons.

Thank you for the info. I have not noticed it on other shoes before. New knowledge you pick up everyday!

Balmorals are great! It was my MTO order, which I finally decide to change into combination of Navy leather and suede.Congratulations!!!!

Puncture holes - I have them as well in my 525 Navy boots
