The Ultimate "Contemporary Traditonal" Thread - Page 11

This one has everything, from the fake rustic fireplace to the artfully distressed train-station style clock and the overstuffed chair made out of inferior quality leather.

One can just envision the white zinfandel chilling in the "wine fridge" while a Michael Buble CD plays on the Bose soundsystem.

^ That is truly horrific TradCon.

"ConTrad." Brought to you in part by Starbucks, Lululemon and Wellbutrin.

Those casually tossed aside pumps (Stuart Weitzman?) are a nice touch.

This is strangely hilarious:

I like how the sculpted bust is dressed for the cold and that guests can readily treat themselves to a lemon or two.

Has anyone posted the Pottery Barn catalogue yet?

I'm still surprised nobody's had the courage to post a photo of his own living room yet. I bet you are all closet ConTradders.

How about Costco or Hammacher Schlemmer?

Nope. You have to muster your own inner ConTrad.

my parents have a Con-Trad house (for the most part). And a gas fireplace.

I love the gas fireplace. I no longer desire a fire but have to deal with the "god damn it, gomestar, you got bark chips all throughout the god damn foyer, and your boots had snow on them so clean up this god damn water trail that goes from the door, to the foyer, through the kitchen, and culminates in the god damn living room. Never again, absolutely never again, damn it all"
