What should I change with this suit? 5 photos.

Hey guys, long time lurker here. I won't go into the unnecessary detail about suit manufacturer but will be getting a new suit soon and need to know how exactly I should have it done. Don't worry about the pants, I already know all the changes I will be making with them.

The first thing I am going to do is add about an inch to the length of the jacket. I am thinking I may need to let the waist out a bit, is that the reason for the creases on the chest? Maybe back? I am unsure on what I need to change so the collar will sit flat on the collar of my dress shirt. One side of the vent also tends to flair out a little further than the other, what would you guys recommend for that? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Don't worry about the puffiness in my midsection, the pants are so tight I could not button the pants or tuck in my shirt all the way.

It looks alright. The shoulders are a tad wide. The waist is too tight. That's probably why the vent's flaring a bit. Don't make the jacket longer. It's already long. Higher armholes. Nice shoes.

Thank you for the response, that is very helpful. I am going to try to nail down my measurements in this thread. Looking at these photos really helps me see needs to be done.

1. Going to end up keeping the length the same
2. Let out the waist an inch
3. Higher arm holes
4. Bring in shoulders 1/4 inch

Does this look about right to you guys? Please let me know if you would recommend something different, this is my first attempt at something like this. I have never had the need to wear a suit but now that I am about to start hiring quite a few people for one of my businesses, it is time for me to start dressing the part. Once I get these measurements finalized, I will likely buy several more suits.

Collar is too high for you square shoulders - get it shortened

I do agree on higher armholes and shoulders seem just a bit wide and should not have creases at the back. It must be constructed too tight hence the creases.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I am really trying to learn this process as much as possible. Is the tightness in the waist causing the collar gap or is it something else?

As for the couch in the background, my wife even said not to take the picture there, should have listened to her. I was trying to find the best light. hehe.

The collar gap is caused by the fact that the jacket doesn't fit you. So many things are wrong with this jacket that it makes no sense to have it tailored. Find a well-fitting one.

I apologize if I didn't make it clear up front, but this suit won't be getting tailored. I am using this suit as the guideline for my next one to be made. Any detailed recommendations are greatly appreciated as I will be submitting the information in the next day or so.

yeah I noticed the knot after I posted the pics. I just through a tie on real quick for the pictures, should have went with a different knot.
