one pair of casual shoes - what color?

My brown hush puppies are wearing out, so I want to get a new pair of casual shoes to wear with jeans and anything from henleys to t-shirts to untucked dress shirts.

I was thinking the Diesel Remy's or Mosleys.

The only thing is, what color is appropriate to get, that could be worn with anything from a T-shirt to a button down shirt?

I like this color, but I'm not sure it's versatile enough:

I kind of like this, too, but I don't like the Diesel label on the side:

This is nice:

And I like these, too, but I'm worried they may be a little too trendy for me.

Little help here.

+1 for Tigers. Get white to be safe. You might also consider a pair of Converse low tops, if they match your style.

+1 on the Tigers - they're my favorite kicks, and they come in a bewildering array of color combinations and designs.

White with accents is always classic, although I'm partial to brown as well. Black leather kicks have a way of looking somewhat ratty after a while, and not in the same way as white ones.

Wow. The masses have spoken.

So pretty much any white pair with accents would meet my criteria?

Would I be able to wear these with a casual dress shirt or a long sleeved knit? They seem kind of casual for that (being white).

Do these go okay with shorts?

Okay guys,

I bought:

http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/6968301/c/84103.html

However, I'm disappointed to see that the white toe tip is actually pink-ish, and the inside being pure white (unlike the oustide which has a green stripe) is more "ugh" than I had thought.

I'm thinking now of getting:

http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/1284295/c/1486.html

But I'm not sure I like the gold stripe. But I think those colors would go with pretty much anything.

Can someone please suggest a couple of tiger models that are white and would go well with jeans and a t-shirt and not look too "wow, that's really out there"?

Would these suffice and not be too bright for someone who's not at the cutting edge of fashion?

Also, seriously, would you wear black socks with these shoes?

I probably wouldn't wear any socks that you could see, given the warmer temperatures.

I really like this color scheme. Red, white, and blue go with almost anything...

Did they fit true to size?
