Which jacket fit looks best on me? (see pics and let me know what you think)

Hi,
I bought some jackets and am trying to decide which is best fit for me. I have the receipt and am able to return all back (however the 36S was bought awhile ago so would only get vouchers for that one).
Unfortunately each one has their own advantage and disadvantage. The main issue I am having is with the sleeve length and overall length (not shoulders):
- 36S: while it shows the little bit of shirt (as is 'the rule' according to research), it feels like it shows alot more than that when folding the arms or when walking with bag over my shoulder, the jacket sleeve slides too far back? (see pics of me folding my arms)
- 36M: fully covers my bottom, covers my arms and doesn't feel like it'll slide back as much to show too much shirt, but looking on the side it seems too big/long (see side pic)?
- 38S: while the sleeve and length is fine, it just looks abit too..'broad', width-wise. When lifting my arms, does it look too baggy (see last pic)? What do you think?

I like to get a second opinion from others. Let me know what you think looks best on me. Thanks

So what do you think? For the 36, would you say the 36S or 36M is best for me? For the 38, does this look too 'wide'?

I take it the 36 fits your shoulders the best? To my eye, the sleeves on the 36S seems a wee bit short and the M looks better. The longer sleeves can be fixed easily.

Fit pics with your jacket unbuttoned are useless. And don't button both buttons, only the top one on a two-button jacket.

The collar goes way too high on every jacket. You should be able to see some shirt collar above the jacket collar.

I would prefer something in between the S and M lengthwise (looking at the buttoned front pics), but that's just me. Some would say when buttoned up and you cup your fingers, you should be able to grip the jacket with your fingers on the side.

More important is the shoulder fit, then you can mull over the rest. Since it's RTW, you can always try a different suit which may have a different fit, cut, length etc. The sleeve lengths and tucking in on the sides can be done be a tailor. Fixing shoulders, length quite a bit harder.

What becnal said above. A 0.5inch of shirt collar showing would be typical. Posture perhaps?

Thanks, but my primary concern is the sleeve and length. This isn't a suit jacket, it's not part of a suit. I'm wearing this with shirt and black jeans for smart casual look.

But still, when thinking about the 1cm shirt showing rule, when you fold your arms, surely there's more than 1cm of shirt that shows because the sleeve slides when you raise your arm? Hence why I think 36S seems small for this. But the 36M, while the sleeve is fine, does it look long on the side? For the 'cupping', I am able to cup the 36S. For the 36M, I am just able to cup it, see the side pics.

The length of the jackets are fine, as are the sleeves. But the collar should fit too. If it doesn't, then the jacket doesn't fit. Buy it if you want, but one day it'll fall out of favour as you realise you're yet another guy in an ill-fitting jacket.

When you move the coat sleeve riding up is normal. I think the shirt cuff us falling too far down past your wrist. The shirt cuff should have button moved over to make that aspect right and shirt fit at wrist correct. Then the 36S would likely be the best fit.

I think the 36M looks best. I would shorten the sleeves a little.

I agree, the shirt cuff looks low, and thus the 36S would be the best fit given higher shirt cuffs. It also seems that 36S fits best around the shoulders and torso, especially for use as a causal jacket.

+1. Jacket 36S is good, but shirt sleeves need to be adjusted. Cuffs tightened a bit to stop them drooping past the wrist.
