Slim Shorts

Any suggestions for where I can find some slim fitting, rich colored shorts? I'm not into the faded looks that most stores carry. I'm looking for deep, rich navy, black, burgundy, ect. Also preferably under $70 and at least 10 inches. 9 inches looks too short on me.

A lot of the shorts I've tried on are straight cut so they end up looking pretty wide at the knee. Looking for something a little slimmer.

Also buying/getting a pair of pants and cutting them isn't an option atm

Uniqlo has some pretty good ones but it doesn't say the length. If anyone knows let me know! Also there is only 1 of the colors I wanted so I'm still looking for other brands.

Try roy rogers, maybe it costs a little more than $ 70 but the value for money is great. Or if you prefer an Italian brand I suggest Basicon. They deliver almost everywhere in the USA.

Might want to check out J Crew club shorts.  Thigh hugging.

J Crew Clubs look great! Perfect fit and size I was looking for, unfortunately they do not have the colors I was looking for! Any other suggestions?

Clubs are pretty wide, Stanton's are slimmer

Says on the website clubs are narrower but the image of Stanton looks slimmer... I'll check them out in store. The problem is their smallest size is a 29 and I'm 27, though I wear 28. So I'm still looking for similar cut shirts in size 28 and different colors.

Misinformation.  Most club shorts come with an 11" inseam, whereas most Stanton shorts come with a 9" inseam.  Even conceding that the Stanton is slimmer, which is contentious claim, it's inaccurate to call the club short "pretty wide."

Yup, tried them on in store and the clubs were both longer and slimmer, albeit only slightly, than the stantons. I wish they had 28" waists...

Seems like this was never really resolved too well.  Please beware that the brands I'm to mention are not paragons of high quality goods.

I know that ASOS has some slim fit shorts.  I believe they go on pretty decent sales now and then (don't pay full price).

The GAP lived in shorts are pretty slim.  They don't hug skinny legs (like mine).  For comparison, I think they're slightly more roomy through the thigh than the GAP slim lived in khakis (though comparing shorts and pants is a bit difficult, so that's just my perception from trying them on).

I've seen JCP and JCrew mentioned frequently - in my opinion, neither carry shorts that are very slim fitting.  Again, I'm skinny.

Uniqlo seems like they would carry shorts that are slim, but I in reality, I don't believe they're much better than JCrew or JCP.  Same with H&M.

I am still searching for some slim shorts myself, and this is about as far as I've gotten.

Just reporting what I found as I owned both. Clubs look like they billow out, while the Stanton's dont. I have big thighs, so for skinny people I would assume even the Stanton's wouldnt considered to be slim.

You can try it out in any online shop you will surely get it.
