I just got a pair of Alden 403's (J Crew makeup) last week, and put my first big scratch in them this morning.  I got the boots for daily use, so I expected scratches, scuffs, etc over their life, but I'd still like to keep them looking good.

I have some Bick 4 that I was thinking about trying.  (http://www.bootbarn.com/Boot-Barn%C2%AE-Bick-4-Leather-Conditioner/1015357,default,pd.html)

Can anyone suggest something I can do to help fix this?

Thanks!
