Hair to suit glasses

I wear thick rimmed glasses occasionally, and am currently thinking about a new hairstyle. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on what hair styles look best with glasses? Thanks if anyone can give me any ideas on the matter.

Long bangs that cover the lenses, and you have to part your hair twice, once for each lens. Then you can have just your glasses peeking out.
