Long story short, someone spilled a cranberry vodka on my fav linen jacket. It was a mistake, it is what it is. Rookie mistake = taking it to dry cleaner and not to a stain specialist as the stain was not "dark" based on the blend of alc and splash of cran. The stain is not very noticeable as it is on the skirt of the jacket. Was thinking about getting the jacket dyed navy or brown to cover the stain. I've skimmed the forum with regard to this topic and information was limited. Understand dying needs to be done via a cold process or the linen will shrink. Also, understand there are some decent options for this in NYC (where I am located). No lining in the jacket. Since the jacket is tan, I think brown might be a nice option.
