Hello. So I have my prom coming up soon. I recently bought a charcoal grey suit but I am having problems deciding what to wear with it. It would be thankful if you could suggest Shirt colour, Shoe Colour and Tie colour.

That is the suit.
I was wondering what would suit the shoes better black or dark oxblood or any more suggestions?
For the shirt I was thinking maybe pale lilac or pink or possibly black?
I really have no idea if this would be good going with the suit and would be thankful if you could help me out.

Black shoes, white shirt, whatever color tie you want. Absolutely no black shirt.

In the daytime, oxblood shoes would be an option, but for a nighttime event like prom, you want black shoes. Plus a white shirt and dark tie: black or navy.

Shoes: black, oxblood, medium brown, dark brown.

Shirt and tie possibilities are almost limitless - a solid charcoal grey suit allows you pretty much maximum versatility in terms of colours and patterns.

Don't do a black shirt, please. Really. I mean it.

Okay I got it no black shirt haha.
I am thinking then of probably going with a white shirt then or a pale coloured one. For the tie I think I will experiment a bit to see what suits best with the shirt.
The shoes I have decided then to go black. Is their a particular style I should go for? If so could you post a picture. Thanks you guys for the help.

Light blue shirt (almost white), darker tie for prom; it's the perfect time of year! Be sure to get a damn cool pocket square to match! (not directly matching your tie or shirt, but some minor pattern color that matches one or the other)

Charcoal grey is one of those colors that can work with so many combinations. My favorite shirt for this world be a pale blue shirt, dark blue patterned tie. If you prefer pale lilac or pink, you can choose a reddish colored tie. Of course black shoes would be a better option over dark brown.

Guys, this is an evening formal event where one used to (and in some places many people still do) wear a tuxedo. This is a time for the white shirt and dark tie if OP is not wearing a tuxedo.

Pale blue or pink shirt would look fine. Evening dress is not appropriate but in the twenty first century, much more is acceptable.

Black shoes.

Enjoy the event.

If the prom is being sold as a semi-formal (the modern definition meaning suit and tie, not the traditional one) and there will be nobody wearing a tuxedo, then yeah, this is probably okay but I still think a white shirt would be more elegant in the circumstances. If it's black tie optional or OP just doesn't want to wear a tuxedo for whatever reason (amazed nobody said "wear a tux" actually), then I think it makes sense to err on the side of being a bit conservative.
