For the Hermes fan. Maybe they will give one of these to foo after all of the free (unwanted) publicity.

Urgh.... That is a bit..... no

Stuff remote controls between seat cushions when not in use. Done.

Or maybe even a crocheted or knitted cozy could work.

Foo, has anyone suggested a crochet or knitted cozy for your remotes yet?

I finally solved the problem of where to put my remotes - an antique shagreen vibrator box that was made during the victorian era when vibrators were operated manually, but I digress. The problem I'm currently having is where to store my antique shagreen box - I don't like having it seen on the coffee table. Does anyone have a good storage solution for remote control boxes?

Lol, I was expecting more than two posts of 'wtf'.

Dear god, the sins I've witnessed...

If you would update the architecture and interior threads then I wouldn't have to resort to participating in this train wreck.

Anyways, I know you have chided me for my interest in Corbu, but I'm going to see unite d'habitation and Villa La Roche soon.

A TV isn't always bad, but I do think its prominence signals what is wrong, it isn't necessarily wrong in itself. I don't mind dragging out my laptop if I need to show somebody something.

I have a tv though, haven't use it since last summer but it exists, when it breaks down I think I just won't replace it cause I find it to be a visual annoyance. I listen to movies on my laptop or watch them with friends in theaters so it's useless.

"I do not watch television," is not a valid answer.

Download a remote control app for your phone. Keep the other remote stowed in the crap drawer for the times few and far between that someone not your wife or you need to control the set.

Also, against my better judgement, I actually like those slippers.

I hate movie theatres.

Ew, what a waste of time. If you're in Paris and want a good early modern architectural tour, go seek out Henri Sauvage's buildings. A few of them are near Villa La Roche if I remember correctly.

That's actually a rather '20-'30s French looking piece.

Speaking of, I was just in the old Templeton Crocker apartment which was done by J-M Frank and eventually all sold off through Christies. It is now a fucking nightmare monument to bad taste and a wife who is, among other things, an amateur filmmaker and interior desecrator.
