Too bad, because it looked amazing with our stuff.

Probably this:

I didn't realize the Nebula table is made of metal. That looks much more interesting than what I'd imagined. Sucks that the guy screwed it up.

New table candidate is also lovely.

That new table looks fantastic. Good choice. Sorry the old one got messed up.

The new table idea looks a lot better than the last.

At this point, we are probably going to get a completely different table.

That isn't 'White Glove', that's 'Iron Fist' delivery.

Agreed, although the original table looked great with the rug. However, I'm not sure it would be as pleasing ten years from now as the marble table will be. That's a very timeless look, which I would not say of the first one.

Going to check out the new table today (the long marble one by Jasper Morrison). If it is as expected, we will order and have it this week.

My sister is warning me away from it, as the long edges and corners are not child-friendly.

Also, if anyone in the NYC area is interested, we're selling our Knoll Laccio table:

Are the edges not chamfered? I would certainly look at how they treat the edges closely if it is a serious concern.

I can not tell you how much I look forward to your post asking what kind of children you should get. Especially the part where you tell everyone that they are wrong and the children you have chosen are just perfect for your needs.

Does that mean you are interested in buying our coffee table? For you, I will hand deliver.

No thanks on the coffee table. We just got these:

They are for the kitchen. One of them is useful and fits. The other is too big (for the space where it sits - they are the same size), so I take it into the living room and use it as a coffee table (as in, I put a cup of coffee on it, not a coffee table book). My wife gets annoyed and puts it back.

No hate on Foo but this is possibly the funniest thing ever posted on SF.

Just picked this up at Capellini:

Got a great price since it was a display piece. On top of that, it is a pre-production prototype, which is sort of neat.
