So I'm going to the hugo boss outlet store next weekend to try to find more. If not i'll order the 15.5L and then i'm going to try moderntailor.com (after seeing a few great reviews coming from people that measured from a shirt they liked the fit of) and resize the collar accordingly. I still liked the 15.5, just a bit more room than I'm used to.

Thanks for all the help in this thread, greatly appreciated.

They fit well in the waist area, but the chest was a little tight on me. I have a 42" chest and 33" waist though, and broad shoulders.

Hi I am looking for a good online shop with slim fit shirts similar to this: MOP Buttons Button Down Neck: \t38 or 39 Chest:\t102 Waist:\t92 Sleeve:\t65 I looked at moderntailor and found out that their standard size 15 has exactly those measurements. Hence I thought that this sizing is somewhat common and I dont need to buy a mtm. anyone some suggestions? (Price around $100)

Yeah my chest is 37/38 so it fits very well on my body type.

i actually purchased the hugo boss slim fit shirt @ retail from the hugo boss store... they have a separate slim fit line and those shirts are very very thin and very slim fit. Same size compared to the slimfit line from brooks brothers makes the brooks brothers look like doctor's lab coats...

Does anyone have a comparable in a regular sport shirt to the Hugo Boss Trim Fit dress shirt? When I wear the HBTF shirts, I feel like they made them specifically for me.

ok...so the Benneton near me turned out to only sell women's clothes. this is the suck. I had no other options left in my entire state so I went to Express. Fits great but feels and drapes like I'm wearing cardboard. Would it be a viable option to take an Express shirt to some sort of tailor and just let him rip it up and use it as a pattern to make me a bunch of shirts that fit the same but are made with a much better fabric? What is a fair price for labor of that sort

It depends. My tailor in Atlanta charges between $90 and $200 for custom shirts. They are pricey but made of far better fabric than OTR shirts.

As I began to build up my new wardrobe, I think this guide definitely helped quite a bit in clarifying the whole slim fit shirts concept. As I continue to build it up, I have a better sense of what to look for. I'm still learning.

thank you!
I look forward to learning a lot and delving into men's fashions through this wonderful forum that I so happened to stumble upon.

Benetton and Sisley shirts fit fantastically well, but the fabric and buttons are a bit crappy. I'm hoping that Modern Tailor can send me a good clone.

Tried on one of the Nordstrom Smartcare Trim Fit shirts for the first time and found the fit surprisingly good. Nice light blue / white gingham. Might buy myself a few.
