I don't think I ever saw the cartoon. I did see one of the animated movies (The 12 Tasks one) but wasn't terribly impressed with it overall, though the herculean task where he has to overcome an IRS/Kafkaesque bureaucracy in order to complete a simple form cracked me up. The comics were much sharper overall though; I didn't get some of the jokes until I was a teenager, and some of the more subtle gags not until even later.

All I ask is that you participate by posting a fit on the Friday.

Very late - i apologize - as asked from TTO - a posting of a fit on Friday - not the challenge Friday of course.

I am probably wrong according to some sartorial tradition, but I don't like the colour of the waistcoat with the colour of the suit.

What's not to like? eh.gif

However, as much as I love the ensemble itself, there's something that bothers me about that shoulder fit - specially given how immaculately VLeV's stuff usually fits. Did you specifically ask for lower armholes for cooler wear?

Not really - this was done by a another tailor that usual. He used more shoulder padding.
