The Night Air - Trippy, sometimes really compelling Australian sound experiment. Can be excellent on good headphones.

The Herd with Colin Cowherd - Sports

Writer's Almanac
- Short and sweet, I find brief poetry outloud much better than reading poetry

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
- Fantastic podcast and a selfless work of passion by Dan.

Documentaries (BBC)

From Our Own Correspondent (BBC)

Handel on the Law
- Entertaining call in lawyer show

I also have been getting into "old time radio" shows. There are plenty but relic radio has some great ones with pretty decent sound quality.

Since reading this post I have have been devouring Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. Great recommendation!

I did enjoy the carolla podcast w/ alec baldwin last week. I used to get the impression he was a large gaping asshole. Now, not so much.

For new music fans, BBC radio 3's Late Junction Sessions has some interesting stuff.

Looks like there's a lot of Carolla fans here.

I just posted an interview with Adam on my show, The Sound of Young America.

Me and my pal / co-host Jordan were on the Carolla podcast a month or two ago, as well.

Someone mentioned the History of the World in 100 Objects podcast - I love it.

I'd also recommend Age of Persuasion from the CBC (you have to get the unnofficial podcast because of clearance issues). It's about marketing, but isn't for marketing people. Really well produced and sharp.

I just downloaded your Carolla interview.

Any links for the "Age of Persuasion" podcasts?

Copy that and use iTunes to subscribe to it - click on advanced, then "subscribe to a podcast."

Sweet! Thanks for the link. I knew about the podcast, but I was too tech-stupid to figure out how to download it.
