Thread Starter
I think there was a thread on this topic some time ago, but I wanted a new discussion as I'm really getting back into podcasts. There are some real great downloads out there (among the droves of utter shit), and seriously, if you don't have a dime to your name but have a working PC with internet, you have no reason to not be entertained. Here's what I subscribe to:

A Prairie Home Companion
Bill Moyers Journal
CBC Radio 3 Podcast w/ Grant Lawrence (somehow just discovered this; it's just a very, very good indie radio show)
NPR 7PM ET News Summary
Stones Throw Podcast (amazing, free podcast which is simply a huge mix by some of the most talented artists on the Stones Throw roster; this is such a steal)
This American Life

You can find all those on iTunes.

If you don't listen to The Ricky Gervais Show podcast (with Steven Merchant and Karl Pilkington) the government should take away your ipod.

Good find, that's awesome.

The only other podcast that I listen to with any regularity is Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier's SModcast - which is just fifty minutes of rambling a week, but there are some funny stories in there.

I sincerely think people here might enjoy my podcasts... I'm a syndicated public radio host when I'm not posting in men's clothing forums. The Sound of Young America is my main show, an arts & entertainment interview show. I also produce a talk show called Jordan Jesse Go and two comedy podcasts - Kasper Hauser and Coyle & Sharpe. Here's an iTunes link.

I really love WNYC's RadioLab, a this-life-like science show with really innovative and captivating production.

Also Jimmy Pardo's Never Not Funny. In my book, Jimmy's one of the funniest comics in the country, and the show really shows off his strengths.

I like the Savage Love podcast a lot... Dan Savage is a hoot, he was on my show once and was a great, great guy.

I love The Business and The Treatment, two showbiz-focused shows from KCRW here in LA.

I also love On the Media, an incisive and often surprisingly funny show about media from WNYC.

Also Seven Second Delay and The Best Show on WFMU from Jersey City freeform radio juggernaut WFMU. Two of the funniest shows on radio in my book.

It's pretty funny, but a bit repetitive....Karl says weird things and the other two laugh at him. Still good though.

I only listen to three:

Adam Carolla
Bill Simmons
Frosty Heidi and Frank (local LA radio personalities)
