Although I agree with the benefits of consuming a mostly plant-based diet for longevity reason, this short article is all over the place. It doesn't address this issue of how consuming animal products through other prep methods (i.e. boiling) may affect AGEs levels. Since AGEs are produced through the sterilization and pasteurization process, are they recommending we consume only raw foods and increase our risk food-bourn diseases?
It seems to be another push for a vegan lifestyle. I guess we would need to pull the original research article to get a more complete picture.
Anyway, new information is always good. Thanks!
