a similar amount from an online casino in Antigua with a 100$ buy in that I still cant believe they paid out on.

Glad to say I have spent both sums on clothing and food and never stepped foot, literally or virtually in a casino since then.

When I interned at an ad agency, me and the other interns were split into 4 groups and each had to come up with a complete marketing strategy for the same product. My group won- $100 cash each and bragging rights.

Also, I've won some DVDs in Entertainment Weekly's monthly email raffles.

I buy the occasional lottery scratcher, most I've ever won on a single ticket was $50.

now that is a real win! i bet they took your photo and put it up on the wall with the rest of the winners?


also, i guess you can see this as a 'win' in some way:

one time a long time ago, my office was taking 10 dollars from everyone in the office to pool together and try to win the lottery which was really big at that time, like 110 million or something.
i said no, they said, cmon what are you going to do when we win ? you are going to be here all by yourself!.
i said, no problem, i'll work here by myself.
a day later, everyone was still at work. hehehe. i guess you can say i won 10 dollars.
