I just found somethng realy interesting! 17oz ELS cotton jeans.

See the odd looking weft? this is why the weft looks this way:

The dark thread is for strength and the loose fluffy white thread is for softness.

The website that sells this pair of jeans is realy cool.

This bundle of pima cotton is ready to spin! I acualy have a spinning wheel... I think I will buy some ELS cotton roving and start spinning! Then I can go to the local weavers guilt and see if I can use one of there vintage shuttle looms after I become a member again. I'm just so excited! I think I just found a fun summer project!

as far as sustainable footwear for flatfoots goes, White's boots would be my pick.... and was. I got a pair of vintage Otto White Line white's boots for my graduation, I think being valedictorian might have also been a contributing factor.... I'm happy anyway....

White's boots are totaly rebuildable for years of added wear... you better believe it!

The reason I'm posting this is because White's boots is one of the best companies I know of. I realy like the idea of having a pair of boots for a very long time, long enough to become realy attached to them. I also love the idea of old world traditional american manufacturing.

The way the sole is it can resoled realy fast and at little expence!

Hand-Made In USA!!

If anyone reading this has flat feet(like me) white's boots "Arch Ease" design pretty much eliminate flat feet as an issue.

Pure Blue Japan just got back with me!

"Our cotton is not genetically modified(Pure Blue Japan)."

Time and time again the best companies don't use GM cotton....
