Speaking of Shell Galways.....

We are considering a limited run of the following depending on which gets more interests :)

(Only 5 or 6 slots available)

#1. Galway / Burgundy Shell bottom / Dark Brown Utah shaft - Same as the picture above

#2. Galway / Bourbon Shell (aka Whiskey Shell) bottom / Chestnut Utah shaft

Please feel free to email me if you are interested in joining!

Cheers!

Steve

^^^ Those both sound great - particularly option 2.

I think our webstore pics represent the colors fairly well...but then every batch is a little different wink.gif
Anyone interested in a GMTO on this gold museum calf? Maybe a loafer (tassel?) or lazy man? I'm open to ideas. That leather looks badass!

How much better is the TD Dover over the normal MTO? Especially for the options in grain calf, really curious.

Does Carmina do an unlined loafer?

I'd like to own a pair of tobacco suede loafers by next summer (sooner would be fine!). Probably penny, full strap looks good, and I figure unlined makes sense, though I don't own any unlined shoes so I'm not even sure what the difference truly is.

Thoughts or any interest from anyone even though summer is over? biggrin.gif

For heathens like me with only one pair of EG's, would the level of contrast be similar on the #2 bourbon/chestnut Utah as the above pair?

Why on earth would you call yourself a heathen?

Lol! Well I have zero shell Galways so with "only" your second pair you'd leave me in the dust.

Dover pie crust stitching seemed 'tighter' and cleaner finish on the Black TD Dover I saw. Also better sole treatment with beveled waist and cuban heel as standard too :)

They can certainly do unlined loafers!

Looking at the EG swatch book I have, Chestnut Utah seems to be slightly darker then Bourbon Crup but shell batches varies so much these days :)

I think Chestnut Utah shaft will be slightly darker but somewhat similar to Bourbon shell.
