GentlemensFootwear.com (CARMINA, EDWARD GREEN, DRAKES, CAPPELLI) - OFFICIAL AFFILIATE THREAD - Page 494

I just wanted to give Steve some more credit for his exceptional service and professionalism. We worked together a few months ago to place an order for 4 sport coats and a suit. Despite finalizing the details, he was able to contact Orazio Luciano in order to see if any last minute details could be included (I wanted the lapels to be slightly smaller). Everything was accomodated and executed to produce exceptional products. My apologies for the crappy Iphone camera photos. From beginning to end, the process was smooth, where Steve continuously provided updates.

I slightly modified the details compared to all of Steve's inhouse garments - reduced shirring on shoulder, slimmer fit, and reduced lapel width.

For you gentlemen that are still on the fence about investing in an Orazio Luciano LVSN article of clothing, I would highly recommend it. Photos are posted below. Can it be fall/winter yet?  (just kidding, I still want to appreciate more of the nice weather and sun).

good lord @parkman24 !  that is a serious take down.  I have one suit still at the tailor...will be getting back this week and post pics.  Wish I had known I could reduce shoulder shirring, but never thought to ask. Still very happy with the final product.  I'll be keeping an eye out for your pieces strutting around Boston.

How did you guys go about making adjustments to the stock sizes from home? I apprecate you likely tried the garments on at home and then changed measurments here and there. I don't think I have or expertise to undertake something like that...

@steveyoo1983 thanks in advance

1. Received my burgundy Utah/Delapre @tifosi Galways today. They turned out amazing, thanks for running them. Pics to come.

2. The EG stock is looking really good in my size. Having a really hard time restraining from a couple pairs, especially with the sale and coupon.

3. I see NOMOS listed on your site, is that a recent addition? Any Orion Neomatics coming in the future???

4. How well would this Carmina Chestnut belt potentially match up to Edward Green chestnut Utah? I suppose I will clarify I'm referring to color not patterning

Glad you received them safely! Enjoy those beautiful Galways in great health!

Re: NOMOS

Yes, I will be meeting them in NYC next week to discuss our stock models. Neomatics (using their new automatic swing system DUW3001) will not be available through my store until late next year unfortunately (or maybe even year after in 2018)

But we will certainly be getting their normal hand wound line (Tangente, Orion, Ludwig, Metro, Ahoi and so on)

I know their Tangente is available right away but some other new models like Metro or Ahoi might have 9 month wait time.

I should have more details in about 2 weeks from now.

Please feel free to email me directly if you have any questions!

Re: Carmina Chestnut belt

I think they are going to be a good match but of course not a perfect match (the fact that EG chestnut utah varies from batches to batches)

Cheers!

Steve

Happy Friday gents!

Looks like some more shell cordovans have arrived at EG !

We are running a pre-order for the 'Duke' Unlined Penny Loafers in Dark Burgundy (and possibly with Whiskey Crup with enough interests)

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 85

Price won't be as high as the shell Galways but somewhat reasonable ;)

Kindly send us an email or PM for any additional questions!

Cheers!

Steve
