Thank you for your interest BaldwinP!I'd be in for the burgundy U-wing boot makeup if it goes through here. As I mentioned in the general Carmina thread I wouldn't mind switching it to the Inca last from Rain if that's possible, but I'd still be in on Rain.
Anyone else interested in this MTO? (Rain Last)
My first vote is Dainite but I'm down for leather too. Chances are delivery will be in the middle of winter.
I vote dainite - the whole idea of boots is all weather wear in preference to shoes. And from any view other than sole-up, dainite doesn't look any less dressy than leather. The Skoak makeup that this is based on has a synthetic outsole - sure doesn't make that boot look any less classy, IMO.
How would you gents feel about the slim rubber/leather hybrid sole?
Not a fraction of an inch. A comma. What a difference proper punctuation makes. So you are saying instead of "No, MTOs are accepted..." this should read "No MTOs are accepted..." What a difference a tiny fraction of an inch can make...
There is a famous book about the importance of punctuation literacy that is entitled "Eats, shoots, and leaves." It comes from a joke, I can't remember, about a cow. The punch line that a description of his diet -- eats shoots and leaves -- has a very different meaning with the introduction of errantly placed commas: eats, shoots, and leaves.
