Wearing museum Chelsea a la Steve tonight. Still breaking them in, though they're quite purrrrrrty!

Anyone have any experience with Bow-Tie shoes that Steve carries? Seems like a solid proposition at a good pricepoint.

Those loafers do look good...what are the differences between these shoes in general and Carmina?

  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Those seem lighter than the previous pictures I've seen.  Is that just lighting in the pictures/contrast to the background, or have you actually noticed them lightening up on break-in?  Seems really unlikely but I have to ask.

Still waiting for mine to arrive.  Hoping within the next week or two!!

must just be the very harsh florescent lighting in my office at CUNY. BTW I totally have a chafing blister on my outside right heel from friction against the side gore. didn't see that coming. easily solved with a bandaid, but ouch!

@peppercorn78 you should get in on one of the Galway makeups Steve has. EG G is a legit US EEE width and you can get in on the preorder without a having to MTO a wider fitting. And because Galways. smile.gif

I've been wearing mine for about a month straight now and they are a solid value for the price of $265.50 (with code 'extra10')

I think Carmina offers bit more refined lasts and Carmina's leather quality is bit better....these are on par with Herring or Loake 1880 line in my opinion..

Goodyear welt construction & Sturdy 1.5 thickness soles & the shape of the last is very similar to Carmina Forest last but more on the forefoot.

Quite comfy from the get go for me ;)

You sold me Steve! Please put aside a pair for me and send a PM and/or invoice my way. I'm probably a true 8.75 as you likely have come to know...
