I tend to reserve just sneakers for denim and then we'll made shoes/boots to more dressy occasions. I think I would be game.

Also I have these so I wanted to make sure it wasn't redundant.

You are missing out, my man. Denim and Galways is always a winning combination.

I don't doubt it at all and I have worn it once and thoroughly enjoyed it. My usual attire 5-6 days out of the week is dress and then my days off are sweats when at home or denim when going out and usually at that point want to give my boots/shoes some rest and wear one of my like 10 pairs of sneakers that collect dust lol.

Makes more sense now that I see the context.

I'm all in for a Cloud Utah Galway on 202 with Dainite. I emailed Steve last night indicating my interest in such a makeup.
I think 82 last would be tough for me to get behind. I'm not singling you out Steel28, just keeping the conversation going.

+1 i cant get behind an 82 last galway with Utah. I think it looks great, but i wouldnt really wear it much. It just doesnt fit how i wear my galways (casual, denim etc..) I already sold one 82 utah leather galway for the same reason so I dont want to try that experiment again.

Alright. I'm good with 202 as well @BenLeaman.

I have Shanklins on this last and really like it as well.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

An all cloud antique Shannon boot on the 82 last / dainite sole sounds like an awesome boot as well? Maybe that can be a future pre-order Steve ;)

Regardless, thanks Steve for the exceptional customer service and support! Great gentlemen to work with... I look forward to more future purchases from him! Can we fast forward to next October/November for those Shell Galways??? LOL

Thank you for your kind words parkman!! Looking good! Cheers!

Quick pic (one handed with a broken collarbone) of the chestnut split toes! These are awesome, thanks again Steve!

Does anyone have a pic of a Galway on the 202?  The 82 would be perfect, IMO - particularly if we go with the Lavagna suede shaft which will dress it up a touch.  Don't really see a clunky last for that makeup.  There's a reason we see more Galways on 82 than any other last, IMO.  But I'll keep an open mind and hope someone has an example of the Galway on the 202.

And if anyone wants a reminder of what the Galway in Utah on the 82 last looks like:

Steve, this will be amazing! When you get a minute, can you confirm you received my email last night? It is no rush, just for peace of mind. biggrin.gif

Congrats to those who got on the cordo Galways. A bit too rich for my blood.
