Hi Steve,

Is our Tobacco suede austerity brogue MTO on single leather sole and light trim edge?

similar to this great Skoak's makeup. I'm very happy that we decided on tobacco suede.

Looks like majority vote is leaning towards...

Tan lining on #1 - Chukka
Brown lining for #2 - Grey loafers

tan lining for the GREY loafers? I suppose it is lining, and so not terribly visible, but iisn't something a bit more called for here? How about the purple (or is it blue?) In the previous tassel make-up -blue or purple works for me. Or red.

I would love red lining for the chukka

Carmina would get more MTO orders if they only offered a standard natural lining. No holdups debating what the color should be. : )

I'm very neutral on the lining colour, to tell you the truth I could care less as nobody will ever see it and neither will I. The shoes are on your feet, they get taken off, and put inside the closet.

Just make the lining tan and be done with it.

I believe its brown lining not tan. I don't see why something more is called for. It's a nice simple summer loafer so I personally don't think it needs much and that brown suits it well. A navy lining could be interesting but purple doesn't it really do anything for me

As long as this loafer has no tassels and no medallion, the lining could be cheetah for all I care. I'll let you guys battle this one out! haha

The lining colour is a nice feature that they offer, but like it's been said before, when there is a group MTO just go with the most practical. I can see however where some would like the lining on the loafers to be a bit more special, since there is a possibility it will be seen more when you go sockless.

In this case the brown or tan lining makes the most sense for the chukka. Just my opinion.

I believe its set:

Grey suede plain toe loafer (no tassel, no medallion)
Rain last
single leather sole
Cheetah lining

My last PM convo with Steve made it sound like the makeup still had to be finalized. I was waiting to hear back. Could be my fault, I dunno.
