Yes, I had seen those. I should've been more specific. I like the medallion toe, antique edge, and the longwing-esque lines of the JL shoe.

Thanks.

Doesn't hurt to ask Steve to pass on the inquiry. I don't have any doubt carmina could do it, but it's ultimately up to them as this would probably be a new pattern.

Carmina does a good job in terms of new designs and there's a chance it could come to fruition.

+1, Steve rocks!

Fair point, but for me suede would be more versatile. Much more often than not, when I'm traveling for business, I'm not wearing a suit (usually sport coat and no tie) and so would prefer the somewhat less dressy nature of suede. Maybe we might need two GTMOs on this! Though there doesn't seem to be a lot of love yet...

Definitely has the a similar U-Cap design on the toe, but this new 'wholecut U cap' is on another level :)

Is there anything close to this John Lobb (blue calf) that we can do an MTO for?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Nice design indeed, I originally wanted (and requested) a Rain last Long wing Design awhile back but did not hear back from the factory.

Let me inquire about this (and the LWB in Rain) when they open back up at the end of August!

@steveyoo1983 can you confirm which lasts are available in extra wide versions? I know rain is, and I thought soller and Detroit might be. I really would love a detroit lasted chukka, preferably in some grain leather (although that lighter color taxgenius linked might be casual enough for me)

We've only done Rain & Forest only. I know there is one more but cant remember for the life of me at the momemt (definitely not Simpson)

Detroit and Soller is already a wide fitting last and they will feel just like (or even slightly wider) than EEE (wide) Rain or Forest

This. I've been thinking about it ever since I saw it on their site. Love the more casual look with Dainite sole, pull tab, and Detroit last.

Not only is this my favorite model from Carmina it's arguably the sexist chukka of all. I would love a dress version of this boot in dark brown calf with a double leather sole. Any takers?
