How is the instep and width on the Oscar compared to the Simpson? I forget...

I'd say they fit quite similar. Take the same size in Oscar as you would in Simpson.

Oscar is normal, can't even get my foot into simpson

I don't find them similar at all
Stevent do you have a wideish foot?

I can wear a Simpson 9.5 and and Oscar 9.5 but I find my 9 Rain to be unbearable.

Slightly widish but it's generally accepted knowledge that Simpson is a narrow / low instep last while oscar is a normal width / instep last

I wear the same size in both. Obviously there are differences in how they feel, but the sizing is the same and I find them both comfortable enough.

I believe Oscar is slightly (just slightly) lower than Simpson in my opinion. But all that is quite irrelevant since this boot is derby style with open throat smile.gif

Can anything in this world be any lower than the Simpson? :)

Is anyone interested in a country calf wing tip with danite / commando sole?

I don't whether skoaktiebolaget will restock this model again

Did you say at some point that you were going to be stocking some new Carmina models soon? Can you say when that might be?
